Here’s Part TWO of my vlogs about why it’s so hard to change your mind about eating healthy, Take a BITE Out of Healthy Eating.
CLICK HERE to listen to the first part, You Can Lead a Person to Good Eats … BUT …. It’s not necessary but may shed some light upon why you find it so hard to change what you eat.
Here I give you the solution to those possibly failed attempts at getting healthier. It’s not always easy but … and it may take some time. But if you follow these guidelines … it may make for a little less arduous journey.
Because it IS a journey … and one that you alone can go on. But … to make it even easier … that’s where I come in.
It seems that I’ve always been much more passionate about helping you change than just giving you diet advice. Advice that you’re going to take home and file in a drawer. Or maybe a round file (LOL)
Maybe I should have been a therapist. Truth be told that I considered both careers before I decided to radically change mine in 1987. But … doing both education and behavior modification at the same time is really the panacea when it comes to any change,
Which is what I do. And what you should do too.
Choose a behavior change around food that you want to make. Then figure out an “experiment” around it that you can do. It’s not a forever thing that most diets promise and fail at (less than 5% succeed … even the most popular ones).
Take a finite period of time … perhaps a month … to do this behavior faithfully. Then measure at the end whether it’s worth continuing.
What I’m talking about here has a lot to do with the Health Self-Experiments I talked about in a series of blogs. CLICK HERE for the final one, Finishing YOUR Health Self-Experiment, which has links to the previous three.
So I’d suggest that you follow the advice in this vlog, Take a BITE Out of Healthy Eating. Then read the articles above. And GO FOR IT!
