Steak and Black Bean Burritos is my take on a September 2018 Better Homes and Gardens recipe ... with the Refried Black Beans (see here) made previously and this incredibly easy pan-fried spice-rubbed steak.
Just add some dairy-free shredded cheddar or Mexican blend cheese (even Whole Foods has their own brand now) to some Gluten Free tortillas (I use Mission ... but I think they're only local ... Udi's has some soft ones but they're hard to find). Then fill with the steak and beans. And top with homemade salsa and/or guacamole (I make mine with chopped fennel as I'm sensitive to onions) and chopped cilantro.
And eat it up FOR REAL! I like to make my steak rare so that I can slice it thinly and store it in the fridge for two-minute REAL fast food.
Just heat the tortilla in a skillet and, when softened, sprinkle with the cheese and let melt a minute more. At the same time, heat some steak strips and beans in the microwave for one to two minutes until hot (microwaves/cook times vary).
Tip the tortilla onto a plate and fill with steak and beans. Add salsa/guacamole and chopped cilantro and wrap (don't overfill! I always do!). ENJOY!

Combine spices well in small bowl.
Pat steak dry (VERY important as spices will not cling without this step). Rub with spice mix. Let stand 30 minutes or more.
Heat 2 tsp. coconut or olive oil in skillet over medium-high heat. Add steak. Cook 5 minutes or until browned. Turn and cook 3 to 5 minutes or so more until steak is medium rare (165 degrees). Remove and let rest 5 to 10 minutes.
Slice thinly across grain.
Heat gluten free tortilla in large skillet. Flip and heat until pliable.
Add dairy free cheese and continue heating until cheese melts slightly. Meanwhile, heat 1/2 cup beans in microwave until hot.
Tip tortilla onto plate and fill with steak, beans, shredded lettuce (if using), and toppings. Fold bottom up and roll. Eat it up!
