I don't like taco seasoning mix packets ... even the ones that say they're salt-free and "organic". So I decided to make my own.
And it's truly my own ... because after checking out numerous same-name recipes, I decided upon this mix. Using several different chili powders is its legacy.
Ground ancho chile ... chipotle and regular chili powders went into this. As well as a little oregano.
The salt is optional ... but if you're going to use it ... use the best. I use colima sea salt ground in my salt grinder. The nutritional analysis includes the salt.
You can use this in place of those packets ... 1.25 ounces makes a serving. Put it not only in tacos and my Fab 'n Fast Paleo Crockpot Taco Chicken but in chili and anything else that needs that south-of-the-border KICK!
Oh ... and it DOES fulfill my Fab 'n Fast criterion as it's ALLLL spices. Eat it UP!
NOTE: For a fast south-of-the-border spicing, use 2 Tbsp. of mix stirred into 1/4 cup of water or broth per 1 pound of meat or fish.

In a small jar with tight-fitting lid, put all the ingredients; make sure there's shaking room. Shake until well combined.
Use immediately or store up to 6 months. Trust me ... it'll be gone a lot sooner than that!
