A dairy-free Paleo alternative to paneer made from tofu to add to Indian dishes that call for it. As well as a crispy snack or salad addition. Eat it UP!

1 block firm or extra-firm tofu, pressed in tofu press at least 30 minutes
 1 tsp tapioca flour
 1 tbsp garbanzo flour
 ½ tbsp red chili powder
 ½ tsp coriander, ground
1 tsp Ajwain seeds (I had to order these from Amazon)
 ½ tsp sea salt
 1 tbsp avocado oil
  cup flitered water
1

Cut tofu into cube-size pieces. In a bowl, gather Ajwain seeds, tapioca and garbanzo bean flours, red chili and coriander powders, and salt. Add avocado oil and water and mix well. Transfer to the tofu and coat it well with the marinade.

2

Preheat air fryer to 400 degrees F for 5 minutes. Set tofu on the air fryer tray, making sure that the cubes aren't touching. Close air fryer and cook for about 11 minutes.

3

Tofu should be crispy and browned. Serve as a snack with sriracha sauce or fold into Indian dishes that call for paneer.
